Wish I could catch one of these guys at a flower, but have to settle for the feeder. Will miss them when they are gone.

Interesting. Hummingbirds stay in Southern California year round. Big responsibility keeping the feeder full

I saw one just like this yesterday so they're not gone from central Maine yet. They will be gone soon but I'm putting out some fresh juice for them this morning.

I'm curious about this. When I lived in San Jose they did stay around all year but we only had Anna's Hummingbirds. Do you have any other varieties there in LA?

Hope the fresh juice keeps them around a little longer for you.

Nice shot and so will I. This morning I watched two fly onto our deck and feed on one of the potted flowers blooms!

Nice! We still have a few here in SE TN. I suspect we'll see some transients pass through, so I'm keeping the feeders filled. I will miss them, too.
