Hi Nikon P900 owners.
I would like virtual horizon.I set it on as instructed.Sometimes it appears for a few seconds and disappears and sometimes it does not show.
Any ideas, experts?
Thanks

I'm not an expert, but did you see this in the manual:
"The histogram or virtual horizon cannot be displayed in A (auto) mode or some scene modes."
Might that apply to your situation? (See page 3 of your manual).

Time to give Nikon customer's service a call?

Does the virtual horizon reappear if you were to push the shutter button half way? If so I would take a guess it might be set to time out after so-many seconds.

*(My Pentax appears all the time when turned on but the VH doesn't fit my style of shooting. It's been turned off since day two of ownership.)

Glad you got it sorted out. It's frustrating when you know something should work and you can't find how.

Do you have a digital edition of the manual? (Downloadable for free). I already referred you to page 3, although the first thing I read there, was about the different scene modes.
On the same page, it also tells you about the Disp button.

I have digital editions of as many manuals for my equipment, as I can find.
Pressing Ctrl+F gives a search box where you can type in your keyword, or even part of a keyword, and with the down-arrow you will be taken from instance to instance of that keyword in the document you're using.
