Does anyone here on the UHH shoot video as well. If so, I'm looking for recommendations regarding handheld and/or lavalier wireless systems.
Thanks everybody!

Welcome to UHH, Rich. I use a JVC cam corder but no extra sound equipment. Sound is one of the cons to videoing. (My opinion)

I just picked up a Zoom H1 recorder and an Azden lavalier mic. I got the recorder new on ebay for $60 and the mic at Adorama for $30 (maybe less?). Together they are capturing some awesome sound. I will have to bring the audio and video together in post production, but that's no big deal. I have more faith is this system than a comparably priced wireless set up.

We have a couple of Sony Bluetooth remotes, and they work fine. My son also uses a Rode Videomic. Whatever you use, it will make a big difference if you have to capture sound from any distance.

From B&H, I bought a Audio-Technica ATR288W VHF TwinMic System ($129.95) that includes a hand held mic and a wireless Lavalier mic that works very well... My Canon T2i has a stereo input so I got a plug adapter from Radio Shack that converts the mono mic input into a stereo plug so the camera records both Right and Left tracks. Works very well.

May I suggest a LECTROSONICS UHF. Not cheap but has a
beautiful sound, range ( distance ), 300 ft. was easy. Compact.
I have used it with a hand held Mic for interviews, On a boom
mic, or with a lavaliere mic. you name it, it works. I think I have
256 channels. I got mine from Location Sound, in CA.
1-800-228-4429, ext. 353 from a guy whose name is Val. I told
him how I wanted to use it and he told me that's exactly how the
TV stations use it, very multipurpose.
Done pro video for 16 years. Sound is definitely one of the pros to videotape. A still of a wedding kiss is beautiful - a video with audio of the "smack' and the bride letting out a sound of pleasure is priceless.
