A few pics of my daily visitors to my feeding stations. I have a regular group of 3 male and 2 female Pileated in my area that are feeding on my suet stations. Thats down from the 7 that were here earlier. They have been coming daily ever since they were fledged. Also have three families of Downies and two families of Hairy. Means I'm going through a helluva lot of peanut butter. The last pic is a interloper whom checks in ever so often to "borrow" some suet from the big boys.

Excellent close up work! Great detail.
Great pictures! Like the DOF and the catchlight in the eyes. What equipment and settings?
Real close-ups.
Well taken.
Thanks all (CWilson, Collie Lover, Leicaflex) for the kind words. They are truly appreciated.
Collie Lover, the equipment I use is a lowly Canon Rebel, a T6i along with a 100-400 lens (the original one)
The first pics are of two came in together just at dusk, I think they are probably brothers of one family. The female and the third male were in together shortly after. However, I did not get a good shot of the lady then so I used a pic I took earlier at 3 in the PM. The White-breasted Nuthatch pic was taken just before the pilleys came in also just before dusk. A lot of the birds actively feed in the early night just before they roost. Makes taking pics a wee bit harder because of the light, especially if it is a bit overcast.
The settings were
Pic # 1 male = 400mm, f5.6, ISO auto (2500), 1/500, EV +0.3
Pic # 2 male = 330mm, f5.6, ISO auto (1250), 1/500, EV +0.3
Pic # 3 male = 320mm, f5.6, ISO auto (4000), 1/400, EV +0.3
Pic # 4 female = 400mm, f5.6, ISO 800, 1/2000, EV 0.0
Pic # 5 Nuthatch = 320mm, f5.6, !SO 1600, 1/320, EV +0.3
