I am a 46 year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. I love taking all kinds of pictures. I have basically taught myself and do have some nice pics here and there. My frustration right now is how to get non blurry pics of my sons night time football games. I have a Cannon Rebel XTi. I have tried every setting possible and have changed ISO and Shutter speeds, but all the pictures are still coming out blurry. I am hoping someone can help me figure this out, preferably before the season is over. Help, please.
check settings if its on manual focus? Youd want it set on Auto Focus
Hope this help. :?: :P
Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I do have it on auto focus. Funny I get better pictures with the portrait setting for football games. Funny...
hi,
I have only been doing photography for just a year now but I would say you need to set your camera's auto focaus to "al servo" and your shutter speed should be to a 1/1000 of a second or higher. "al servo" tells your lens to continue to re-focuas and the higher shutter speed freezes the action.
on my camera, a Nikon, press shutter button half way down and let camera foucs
thanks for the suggestions I will give them a try and see how it goes
are you using the sports setting???
