A technically great photo Graham. I just wish the girl had a little more room on her right.

What is interesting to me is that no one seems to notice that this person is playing his guitar in a litter bin. Like its a common, ordinary venue. no side long looks, no interest in his music or his chosen seat/stage.

Great capture, Graham. The ultimate definition of 'canned music'.

That certainly is interesting. Was the busker that bad, to be canned?

Now there's something you don't see everyday. Great capture, Graham! As someone who has been in the music industry for the past 16 years here in Nashville, I can honestly say, I have never seen that before. That guy will surely be sorry when someone actually uses that litter bin for its intended purpose.

Hello Don, cropping the girl was deliberate on my part, without the crop she was too dominant.

He used to be a regular sight in Cambridge over a number of years but I haven't seen him in a while.

Sorry just not a good capture in my opinion. The arm is nearly cut of at the edge of the fame. The image ins unbalanced with a lack of a focus point. Comical perhaps, amusing but not photography that would make it to print, frame or any wall.

Not swaying one way or the other on this, but you bring up and interesting point I will post in another thread so as not to hijack this one. Thank you! S-

I never print, I don't want my pictures framed or hung on walls. It was my choice to frame it in this way, it was quite deliberate.

Printing is another method of feed back. Print often reveals flaws that are not visible in a LCD. Prints can actually be better than what can be viewed on an LCD. Print it the final work of art of photographers. I think you are making bad choices.. no disrespect but there are some basic elements to composition that renders an appealing image. You are here to share that which appeals to you are you not? What happens of the message is lost?

One other but important point, posting images in this forum titled For You Consideration is just that. You are posting here for consideration, feed back, or just to stimulate discussion regarding the image you posted. If the image is perfect, shot as interned and are not open to discussion but only atta-boys, good job and alike why post here?

It's not high art. It's just funny. That's the whole point.

The title should have made the humor obvious. Too bad it had to be explained.

So you know all about me do you? You know my aims, my ambitions? I do not, and have no wish to, belong to any camera club to display prints. I suppose I could always hire space in a gallery to hang prints, it's an idea. I wonder if my pension would stretch that far? I could always hang them on my walls at home but most of the time it would only be my wife and myself that see my amazing prints.

I enjoy the actuality of photography, going places, meeting people and sharing my pictures on forums such as this one. I welcome and take on board all comments I receive. I do not print and I'm not missing anything because I don't print.
