Has anyone found a lens hood that will work with a Nikon P-900? Thanks.

Google's your friend:

There may be others, I did not look any further, nor did I really read what was said about these.

I did quite a bit of looking around for hoods for both my P900 and my FZ70. Found that you will need one that will collapse for your widest lens use. That is if you don't want to be taking the hood on and off - which I deemed to be a major inconvenience when I was in the field. I finally settled on https://www.amazon.com/COOLPIX-Digital-Rubber-Collapsible-Microfiber/dp/B00VMVGBRC as the most acceptable of what I found. Hopes this helps. If you find something new and wonderful, please share.

It is telling that Nikon does not package or even sell an optional hood for the P900! But with a field of view equivalent to a 24 - 2000 mm focal length it is hard to imagine a hood the could be at all effective through the entire range, particularly if the front element rotates (I'm not familiar with this camera), eliminating a petal style hood.

Lots of luck.

I use a collapsible rubber hood that I bought at a local camera store, but it still has vignetting issues at the widest lens setting. I wish I could find a tulip cutout lens hood that really is made for this camera.

You have a choice between $4.00 and $30.00 for a hood. How convenient. Hoggers always come through with help. Great camera too. I'm tempted to buy one. But rumor is out that a 100X is in the works. Release date?
