You may have heard or watched some of these "Slow Movies" they can be many hours in length and have no soundtracks just background noises.
They have many themes from videos taken from a railway drivers cab or from the bridge of a ferry.
Now BBC4 and launched a series with a similar theme, this week was two hours long and was taken from the "Dalesman Bus" as it made its journey from Richmond to Ingelton, one on the most beautiful parts of the UK, North Yorkshire dales.
If have a couple of hours to spare it's worth a watch.

Tried to view, but the BBC blurbed it was only available in the UK. Shame, I was looking for a peaceful journey.

I've not seen the bus one yet, but two hours on the Kennet and Avon canal is going to take some beating. Just the chug chug chug of a slow revving diesel, the wildlife (mainly avian), and pushbikes on the towpath.
We do have the advantage of advert free television for this sort of thing, I don't know whether that will be available in the U.S.

I've seen links to videos like these, but never had the need to watch an entire one.
