Perfect Photo Suite 6.1. Any opinions on this? It seems a bit pricey.

Do you use it as a stand-alone or a plug-in?

Mainly as a plug in to CS5 but at times as a stand in

There are so many pp programs now that it's hard to know one from the other.

I have been using it since it came out. The price wasn't bad since I had some of their old software and they allowed the upgrade price. The Perfect Effects are well worthwhile as you can quickly see what each change makes plus you can stack changes. The change from 6 to 6.1 fixed a number of glitches in the first program. I've used it both ways as a plug-in and stand alone. The standalone only allows saving the picture in PSD so if you want it in JPEG you have to open it in a different program and resave. The other program of their's that I have used is a layers program to replace sky etc. They make it work easily in the demo's, but I have not had that luck. I have gotten better with that part lately and with the new version. If you have any other specific questions let me know.

Thanks. I have yet to see a demo that made a product look bad.
