Thought this one worked better in B/W. What appears to be noise its not. Its the water droplets catching the soft afternoon light.

This is an interesting image. I think you are correct about the choice of B&W. It makes the details pop more without the background colours getting in the way of the subject. For some reason, the urn at the left side bothers me. I tried cropping it out, but that didn't seem to work either. It made the image be out of balance and put the furthermost item at an awkward place. Cropping it out also didn't work. That's just my opinion. We'll see of anyone else thinks so. If not, feel free to ignore my opinion!

I have to agree about the urn. I also think it detracts. I am not sure of a solution though. If you had moved to the left you would have lost your third fountain in the background which I think is important to your composition, you would have had the backs of both fountains and the crossing of the two sprays. I also wish you had gotten the full splash of the fountain in front. I too like the B&W treatment of this image.

I'm wondering what made you post this for a second time Oscar? Was it that you didn't get a lot of response first time round? If so, it looks like you could have been right to do so as you have two useful replies from people that didn't catch it the first time round - and that's something I've wondered about previously, when hoping certain members might comment on a post because I respect their opinion, only to find they didn't say anything!

I just forgot that it was already posted. Either way it got almost no comments so it has been interesting to hear some new comments on this line.
