You really nailed the exposure. A hint of the city in the distant mist. That sun is not blown out and very prominent. Well done.
Nope. It's spectacular. LOL. Great shot! Love the colors and composition on this one. A wall hanger.
We would be nothing without that sun!!! Nice shot!
Beautiful, Frank! I want a poster-sized print for winter

A bit surprised as I thought this to be an average sunset shot, thank you all for comment.

You obviously haven't seen enough "average" sunset photos
yeah, if this is average, I await your spectacular. I think it is awesome. Awesome. I do not know if it would be improved if the foreground was cropped out, leaving us with the softer and distant 100 percent dreamy look. If I was in a store buying a poster for my wall, this for sure is one that I would look at and think about. WELL DONE!!

Thank you all again as I sit still stunned.

Nice one, Frank. It is very hard to get the sun, that big, in an image and not make a complete mess of the thing. Very well captured, simplistic and pleasing. Could be an art image or a stock photo, seems to tick the boxes for that.
Because I'm an inveterate fiddler, I'd tinker with the color balances a bit and see if there are others that work. This one leans to cyan a bit, and that could be taken either way for a different look. Whether the color is "as it was" in life is an irrelevant issue to me here though.

Thank you minniev, I messed with it back and forth, I think this is a touch cooler than real life although not by much just hint....was fairly dark....or unbright.

I like the contrast in colors presenting a bold expression to end the day! S-
