Did you take evenly spaced shots, then use only these, or somehow select exactly those values while taking? Asks the inquisitive student.
Not evenly spaced, I just picked these. Evenly spaced is probably best, but I'm lazy. Handheld also, Photomatrix does a great job of aligning the images flawlessly.

Good shot for HDR and nicely done. I think HDR should be applied the same way a woman applies her make up in that you hardly realize it is there. You have done that, well done.

I agree totally, thanks for your valued opinion.

Well done, James. I like your HDRs. They don't hit me between the eyes & scream 'HDR', which means that you got a good result (JMHO anyway).

The Goldilocks image, James. Not too hot, not too cold, but just right!

Good analogy...I sure have more respect for Porridge makers.

James, you have applied a very nice technique to the scene. To me, the download of second image shows that you have achieved your goals.

Nicely done James. Just about kept it realistic looking.
So many HDR's are totally unrealistic, which for me detracts from the original subject matter.

I'm a big fan of HDR. You nailed this one. Full of color and exposure is terrific. Dark areas are bright enough to see and there are no over bright areas. Outstanding. David

I love HDR because it emphasizes form and color. I even like it when the sky is a little too overdone. This photo is great. You show control in using HDR. Wonderful thing to learn.
