Blessed with a beautiful day last Monday, I decided to get out in the canoe. These pictures are of an abandoned railroad wharf used by the Weyerhaeuser Company to transport logs to the water for delivery to the mill. This wharf and surrounding land was in use until 1984 and was then donated to Washington State as a Wildlife Sanctuary.
