In my estimation one of your finer works Mr. Chinn. Just a great photo. For what it's worth.....I spent a bit of time looking to see what the lightness was left in frame, (leash connection) which took me away from the subject matter....so what I guess I might be saying is make it readily apparent or loose it. Well captured my friend.

Thank you Frank !!! I'm glad you like this one. Yes, that is a leash and I debated about removing it, as you can see I didn't, but I do agree, and I believe I will remove it. I appreciate you commenting and pointing out the leash being a distraction.

This is so much fun! Great details in the dog (Boston Terrier?), super perspective, terrific use of light and dark tones. I love dogs and I love this shot, Dave!

Awesome - I like the down low shot. Yeah the leash probably should go, it is just too bad it is where it is at. I like the shapes and shadows of it and such could easily be a subject by itself - which I guess is exactly why it has to go. This dog rules!

Thanks Linda !!! Yes, Boston Terrier. Not sure why I haven't posted this one or even processed before now. This was taken in 2014 and was hidden deep in my archives.

Better without the leash. I really like the perspective. You didn't just get onto the level of the dog; you got below it. The photo is wonderful; but (and this is totally subjective of course) it appears a bit over sharpened for me. The photo has a harshness that I think it would be better without. Thanks for dragging this one out of the archives. It was certainly worth looking for. I wonder if I have any decent photos hiding in a digital closet somewhere in cyberville?

Brilliant image, brilliant B&W, I agree about losing the leash but that's easily done. All round one of the best shots on UHH I've seen this week.

Thanks Erich !!! Yes, I have to agree it is a little over sharpened. I suppose this is a good example to why I don't delete any files. I appreciate your comments and pointing out the sharpness.

Probably a minor issue. Going back to this photo several times, the figure in the background visible through the fingers is really very nice.

Thank you Erich !!! I agree the person in the background is what, IMO, makes this image. Without that person it would be just another dog image.
