I am looking for extension tubes to use with my Nikon 105 macro lens. Are there any suggestions for which brand gives the best compatibility with all of the functions?
Many thanks
I prefer to stay with Nikon.
kenko cost the most,i use vello
I own two sets of Kenko tubes (12-mm, 20-mm, & 36-mm), although I only use one set. Kenko tubes attach tightly to camera & lens, and are blackened inside to defeat internal reflections. Vello and Nikon tubes are also good. I have no experience with other tubes. A single set (68-mm) on a 105-mm macro lens yields 2:1 mag at MFD.
I have both a kenko set and several Nikon pk-13s. Both work fine. I use them on a 105
