When will you learn to use the gallery and not the main photography discussion?

You need a longer lens.
Well it was taken with a P900 and they don't come longer than that but with my level of experience I couldn't find them with lens extended.Lovely camera but on a bright sunny day the EVF is not good.

My friend, I am 93 years of age.you must excuse errors from a very old man.Purely as a matter of interest I flew a Lancaster bomber in the war so I have good reason to love them, arose end or front.

Love them!
Keep them coming.
(maybe a little fill-flash next time? LOL!)
My dad flew in B-24's during the war.
The Lancaster looks a bit more elegant.
Both lethal.

Driver, thanks for posting the shot! And continue to do so. And don't mind the mean reply from Wrongy- he is just envious of your well exposed shot. You see he isn't capable of doing the same. Again, thank you for posting

I think it's an effort in futility, Rongnongno. One wonders why the specialised sections were ever established in the first place! Certainly the rules and recommendations for this Forum are largely ignored by whomever thought them up.
Glad you got this shot of your trip down Memory Lane.
Well, as to the comment on it being them going away. A lot of things that fly go by so fast it is hard to get them in the viewfinder before they are past. Your P900 has no flash shoe. Do you have another camera with one? It might be hard for you to get over there but a Red Dot sight with an adapter to mount on a hot shoe works well, I use them for Birds In Flight and other distant objects with a really long lens. I know they make brackets that screw on the tripod mount and hold external flashes, I have one with my old Miranda 35 mm camera which had interchangable viewfinders and therefore no flash shoe. For a Red Dot the fact the P900 has no flash connector would not matter.

When will you learn that once it is moved you end up looking like a jerk!
When will you learn that old people make mistakes and don't mind looking like a jerk and when will you learn to be civil.c
