It wasn't "magic hour," just mid afternoon with perfect weather. A spur of the moment ride got me to this spot that I can't go by without stopping - Mt. Chocorua in New Hampshire.
Nikon D7100; Sigma 18-250 @ 18mm; f16, 1/80 sec. ISO 283 (automatic); CPL and a little luck. Gently cropped and lightly processed in camera raw.
Pure bliss. What a beautiful spot!
A very, very pleasing scene, Dennis. Nicely photographed!

Thanks. It's a place I have a strong sentimental connection to.

Thank you, Linda. I think I'm learning to be less heavy handed with those adjustments.
Peaceful and pretty. A beautiful shot, Dennis, and excellent and unobtrusive processing. Good work!
Thanks, Randy. There was some luck involved here. Just minutes after I took the shot, a rather unsightly elderly couple came wading through the scene.
It's a lovely place to spend some time. Nice photo.
Very nice image. Reminds me of various lakes in Montana.
Thank you. It's a very relaxing spot.
Thanks, MT. I've never been to Montana but have been to Utah, Idaho, and northern Arizona. Your mountains are far bigger than any back here. But just about all parts of this country are beautiful in their own way.
Beautiful image, Dennis! Very nicely done!
