Those are all good, but I love the nest ... Eagle? Hawk? and the wooden staircase.

Really sharp, wonderful color that's intense without being over the top.

Probably admire them because I usually miss them! Some people, like you, have an eye that sees "small" ... I tend to see "large," so I'll get big landscapes, but miss the smaller things that are often the most interesting. I'm getting better, but you've GOT it.

Originally, I thought osprey, but realized it was in the mountains, not by the shore, so I figured some other kind of eagle or a really big hawk! It's a GREAT shot.

We do have Osprey here as well.... The Bald Eagles come around in numbers during the months of October and November during the Carp spawning...

Most people don't realize that the American eagle is a fish eater. They hang around the river valleys, along the Merrimack and the Blackstone, and steal fish when the fisherman land them. No one argues with them. They have a definite "presence." They are really easy to spot as they sit in the trees, just waiting for someone to pull in a big bass or trout. Lazy, too!
