I have been toying with the idea of getting PSE 10 and if it was much advantage over the version 8 which I already have. To me $79 is a sizeable investment on an anuity. But, I received a flyer in the mail yesterday that made the decision a bit easier. B.J.'s Wholesale has it advertised for $ 49.99 beginning May 17. thru June 10. Now this is advertized in the Virginia Beach area so I assume it would be the same in other areas. So for me, I guess it's a "go". I just can't afford the programs the big boys have like Lightroom or Photoshop.

Hi Capn Jack: Not a bad price on Elements 10, my daughter bought my copy for Christmas from Costco for the same kind of money. I found my copy of LR 3 through Craigs List. from a teacher, that after he has taught the LR 3 course that semester he sells the unregistered copies for $40... I down loaded my copy, tried it for a few days, paid him via Pay Pal, he emailed me the registration number. I registered it with lightroom... Worked out great... Hope this helps.

I would think most definitely. The improvements from PSE8 to PSE9 was pretty big. Amazon has it for $47 right now.
