help with back up for my Mac

In the dock at the bottom of my screen I had one little back up umbrella, now I have lots of them and can't get rid of them, have tried right clicking etc, force quit but nothing happens and they just keep getting added to each day, can anyone help me with this, have tried googling it too but can't seem to come up with the solution, I have a Lacie back connected to this desktop. Thank you.

Try control and mouse click on the icon in your dock and you should get a quit or force quit menu pop up. Hope this helps.
