Help With Lightroom

I recently downloaded googles' free Nik collection. I had previously installed Silver Efex Pro 2 for Lightroom and had used it for quite some time without any issues. Now that I have downloaded the entire Nik collection, it does not work. Any ideas what I need to do to remedy this solution?

Without actually seeing what's going on it's hard to say but......are the other plugins such as "Define" working?

Is the Silver FX pluggin in the same folder as the rest of the package?

Did you uninstall the old Silver FX before you installed the collection? If not, I'd start by uninstalling all of the NIK products and reinstall.

Appreciate the help, Paul. That seemed to do the trick.

If by not working you mean they won't launch from LR, as has been suggested, you can re-install. I've found it easier to select Edit, Preferences, External Editors, and just add the applications there. You can find the apps in C:\program files\google\

That is the method I use

I had similar problem but only with Photoshop. Had to reinstall the entire Nik Collection but it was no big deal, easy and goes quickly.

Did you try uninstalling the original first then installing the new collection afterwards? I had a problem with it too but after uninstalling the old copy then installing the newly downloaded copy everything works fine.

When you folks reinstalled Nik did you have to do that after a recent update by Adobe of LR or PS? It seems I have to do this after about every other update.

I'm sorry if this is too off target for this thread, but it seems to tie in. I can repost under a new topic if people think that is more appropriate.
Thanks
