Look who came to visit me

As I was waiting for my customer to come to the door, these two Fawns were jumping and playing in the grass really cute. Then they saw me and I stood very still and slid my IPhone out and started shooting. The fawns kept coming closer and closer to me. They got around 5 feet from me. The customer opened a window and scared them away. This really made my day.
I've taken more pictures lately with my IPhone but as they say "the best camera is the one you have with you"

Great capture .., even if it was a Brownie ... It's always the rare capture over the camera that captured it ... Yep ...

We have a bunch of them in the back yard (I'm in Putnam, about 20miles north) but they never come close enough to photograph. Nice shots.

The fawns haven't learned fear yet. Around here if I stop the car when I see them on my road the big ones bolt. But the yearlings just stand there and look. It gives me great photo opps.

Beautiful! I love it, turp77! Wonder where Mama was?? We have two fawns that come out to play near here, too, and Mama is nowhere to be seen! They're so cute!

Hi Neighbor. Nice to know others in the quiet corner. DaveO is one mile from me. We are trying to get together some time, but our schedules conflict some. Maybe the three of us could meet up some where and talk cameras.

turp77, What a great shot taken with an IPhone. The little fawns are very cute, and the twisted trees in the background are most impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I have at least two DSLRs with me all the time and have a large collection of cameras, 44 Nikons and over 300 film cameras but lately I've used my IPhone for some nice shots. Go figure. LOL. This deer shot the IPhone was sitting on my clipboard pointing in the general direction of the fawns. Total luck shots.
