One of my favorite things to do when I have a hankerin' to shoot pictures. Nice shots. I have a ton of stuff I shoot just to play with my settings and try different techniques on pp.

Thanks TK. I'm just a newbie playing around, trying to get used to the camera and what can be done with it. Most shots don't seem to work out, LOL! Have a great day. :-D ME

Cannon xsi, nothing too extravagant, as I'm just a newbie. Photography has always been on my bucket list. I am going to be taking a couple of courses at our local college during the summer school session, one thing checked off finally. LOL

I'm not all that old to this stuff myself. Did you do a lot of post processing in the first two? The background looks odd. Love the subjects but the background looks over processed.

I love the angles in the first picture, I also love all the textures in the rust pictures. WE have a railroad museum in our town and i love to take pictures of all the cool rusty things!

TK, thanks for your critique. Will work on the backgrounds. Did a bit of post processing, but I surely have a lot to learn, lol. I was too focused on the subject, didn't pay enough attention to the background, it is more obvious in the post than in my photo gallery. Lesson learned! :thumbup:

I think you are mousing in the right direction! 2 and 3 are great. I love old iron. Just don't count on post to save your picture. Play with your settings and get it close in the camera. In 1 you had to much DOF, if you would have step down your aperture it would haven blurred more.
By the way, I have not heard "mousing around" in a long long time. Thanks, it brought back a few good memories!

MaryE, I'm still learning. Stick around here and you will learn a lot or as much as you want to. Great bunch of people. Sometimes we are adults and sometimes we are junior high kids. Keep shooting and showing.
