Wow Bob, that's thinking ahead!! These two shots work perfectly together and I bet you didn't plan this in advance!!! Very nice work, my friend!!

The reversing of the background image was a good idea ...... it allowed the tree branches to almost work as a framing device for the chickadee. Good on ya Mate!

Someone who was very good at composites once pointed out to me that one of the things you really need to concentrate on with composites is getting your light sources all coming from the same direction. I only mention this because the dark leaves at the left of your background probably would have been lighted somewhat if it had the same light source shining on your bird and the branch that it's sitting on.

However, it doesn't detract at all from its eye appeal. As for the dark leaves .......shadows!

Actually shot on different days but when I loaded them, they seemed to call to one another...thank you very much!
