To me the fence gives a sense of scale.

I think that rustic style fence is compatible with the rest of the image.

I think I agree I've been looking at the image in photoshop and tried to eliminate the fence and it seemed to take away from the aesthetics

I agree with everyone who votes "yes" for the fence. It's just as much part of the environment as the mountains.

Keep the fence... nice pano. A suggestion, if you are going to print this, before you do, k/o the dust spots in the sky (seen in enlarged download). Since it is a pano made of several images, they repeat themselves across the sky. Photoshops patch tool should make it quick and easy.
