Inspired by drmarty's hummer, I thought I'd try a little something with this shot. I liked the bokeh and the sticks. I softened it with the Orton effect and played with the colors a little.

A very engaging image, Dianne! I love the composition: the bird looking towards the center of the pic, the curved branch on the outside right keeping our eye inside. The soft pp is perfect for such a delicate little bird and the colorful bokeh makes a super-interesting contrast to the mostly white subject and the brown branches.

Very special!

This is great Dianne. The hummers is lovely - fluffy but very well focused. His coloring makes it hard to look away. The soft color pops in the background help to keep your eye exploring the shot. Very nice processing!
