Well - he DID say "nutritious". So - if you are suffering from a rum deficiency, you definitely need to add rum!

Sounds good. The only thing I don't have is the almond milk. I do, however, have the makings for a pina colada.
We make these all the time but not with almond milk, I'll have to try that.

The English sailors used to get a ration of rum every day, and they were healthy. Right? Right?
Leave out the sugar.
Then it becomes healthy.

Sounds like a good way to ruin a perfectly good cantaloupe.

You are right and I should have said sugar optional but my wife said sometimes she adds it, depending on the melon. Some are sweet and some are not. This drink hits the spot and is so refreshing especially in the heat where we live in this hot desert. As far as the Almond Milk goes, Doctors orders. He said to use it instead of regular milk. But one thing it does have more calcium than regular milk and a different flavor.
As far as the Rum goes one of my favorite flavors is Rum. Just no alcohol. In fact my favorite candy is See's Rum Nuggets (nueguets sp.). No alcohol, I sent them a letter asking and they said they use no alcohol in any of their candies.
I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.
Thanks to all of you and you all have a glorious refreshing day.
