Are these bugs related?

The wings and size of body are similar as are the markings on the back. However, the head and color are different. The flower is 1" across at the widest. 10mm extension tube on Sigma 30mm f2.8 lens on Sony a6000, f/9 1/320sec iso 100.

They could be distant cousins, after all they are creepy crawly bugs, but I don't know if they are close relatives. They could be in-laws and not blood relatives.
One could be a much younger version of the other, there are many similarities.

They look like the same bug to me, Chuck, but I don't know what they are. Pretty flower!
