Seeking Monitor Recommendation for Printing

UHH member TinWhistle posted this in another thread, so I am 're-posting' his Original Post here, in a new thread.
"I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this question, (about computer monitors), but the monitor used has a great deal to do with the out come of the print, so here goes. I presently have two monitors, an older 22" Gateway, and a newer 24" Planer. I used to have the monitors located several feet away from each other, but just redid my "command center" and the monitors are now only a couple feet from each other. What a difference! No need to go into a lot of detail, but I see two new, identical, monitors on the horizon. I'm looking for a 22" screen, the 24" is almost too large, a very good quality monitor (it's not a spare no expense deal, but I'll pay for quality). However, the selection of monitors out there is staggering. What do you guys have for monitors? Some specks? Good experience, bad experience? Comments and/or suggestions, please."

Dell makes quality monitors but you got buy right models that are pre calibrated. Just hope that you have no problems with the purchase or the warranty; Dell is not a company you to have to deal with, it's like talking to the wall to put it lightly.

Something like the Dell U2715H is what you are looking for. The IPS technology (wide viewing angle while maintaining true color rendition) and 99% sRGB color gamut.

Or the U2515H, which is the one I have. I believe the difference between the two is either a 24 or 25 inch screen.
