I posted a portrait of one of my godsons here about a day ago, but for the life of me I cannot find it, which makes me think I did something wrong in the process of trying to post it. I decided this morning that I want to post a bunch of different portraits, so here is the godson portrait, taken while he and his lady and I were eating ice cream at an ice cream parlor.:
Here are three more, these from a larger collection I have called "The War."
That last shot...very compelling!
I agree!
Love the last photo!
Good job :)
I like the second and third shots. Very nice.
One of my favorite shots.
Your pictures are well done however I find in the last picture of the young woman in the very colorful head/body wrap, this bright color garment pulls my eyes from her face. I may have processed more of a head shot and perhaps toned down/replaced the color with a more neutral shade as you did in the first group of pictures.....just my thoughts
As I was posting that photo I thought that perhaps I should tone down the saturation. I think you are absolutely right.
Very nice work. It is refreshing to open a thread and see quality images for a change. The last post I opened was by somebody who uses a top of the line camera but doesn't know why a wider f-stop would work better in lower light.

I think that her face is so compelling that I hardly noticed the shawl or whatever it is. What a beauty!
She is unquestionably the most beautiful model I have ever photographed. I did a second shoot with her and she was wearing a white shawl. I must hunt for those pics and put them up here, too.
