Jerry, I got the Teach Yourself Visually PSE 10 book. It actually shows you the PC screen and how to get what you want. It starts in from getting your pictures and where to put them and steps of what to do from there. The book lets you actually use the pc and have book open to page of screen as it opens and goes through the steps. Check out eBay and Amazon to see which is cheapest. Under $20.00. Good luck

Hi jerryg here is a website that teaches all about Elements in a step by step easy to follow way. http://www.photokaboom.com/_htm_menus/PSE_menu.htm I suggest you start at the beginners section it will teach you every thing you need to know to accomplish what you are trying to do. You can also use the alphabetical area, where there is a section called combining two photographs that may answer your question specifically. Hope this helps.

Will this also allow me to clone from one photo to a similar one. I shot my kids wedding and in one photo her dress was overexposed with a nice facial expression and in the other the dress came out perfect but the facial expression is no good. I want to get the detail form the properly exposed and clone it to the overexposed.

Amazon is free shipping over $25 so I always spend on something extra I didn't really want. This time although it was $3.99 shipping I just ordered the one book. Thanks
