How smart you are, Irene. The car lights worked well. We need lots more peaceful people. quote=Irenejb]Have only this recent shot with my smartphone...shot after the sun set.....lit up with the head lights of my vehicle.

The second image is also shot using my smartphone.

Thank you Elizabeth.

Had no "fresh" sunrises or sunsets. Been so hot expected to see a good one this AM. NOT - even after leaving the house about 4:30 AM. Posting and hope to be back later - we are to get storms this afternoon, They said lightning. Hmmm maybe I will get more practice with that. These are from Kettle Cove this AM and I was surprised how many folks were there - one commercial fisherman, pleasure fishermen, a swimmer, a painter, one other photographer, a group of scuba divers, and paddle boarders who came as I was leaving (all before 6AM). (Thought I straightened #2, looks as if I maybe didn't - oh well the earth tilts anyway so guess ocean is just taking a little slide)

Wow Pat! These are fantastic! The sunrise and composition in #1 if right on! I think your early morning effort was worth every moment! Would love to have been there too! :-) These are all great compositions. Wish I had your eye for this type of composition/POV. Well done! Also love how you framed the artists! Now that is neat!

Would love to stay and go through the rest of these great posts, but am on duty this a.m. at the hospital. My Mom seems to be improving. Taking each day at a time, but she is brighter and more smiles.

Here is Aug.'s calendar for those that need it and also Sept.'s. ! Thank you, Pat, Elizabeth and Cindy for stepping up! That is great! Just need 3 Saturday's and one Sunday filled in. Anyone willing to take on a day or two? :-)

Back later!

Thanks Irene for the help. It's been so long since I started a challenge.. I've forgotten how to post link.

Just clicked on yours and it didn't work.
Probably because I corrected smarty phone to smart phone.

Could someone try again?

Try this. Just double checked and this link works. A hint: I found the link by clicking markar's profile and "list of topics created". The challenge was her most recent sp clicked it and then copied the link at the top. When you start creating a new topic it is assigned what seems to be a "creation" link. You need to "send" your initial info and a different link shows at the top: that is the link to the topic and the link to copy and insert in current challenge. Don't know if that helps folks or not, but that is how I found it.

Not a problem, but I did notice with the last challenge I set up that the "creation" address differs from the address that appears after you actually send/post the challenge. So glad you jumped in to help.
