Easy to see why it is a favorite. Really nice.

Beautiful, but beware....the few times I've seen those a tornado was not far behind!
Thank you, yes it was quite scary with very strong warm winds. You could hear thunder off in the distance and a few minutes later it was all over with.

They sure were amazing but within a few minutes they were gone.

WOW! Those are really wild! Don't think I've ever seen the likes! Huge gray cotton Balls! Thanks for showing these, Lori! Bet it was one heck of a storm!!
Thank you, it was kind of scary as the wind was strong and very warm. Thunder off in the distance and then it was gone. Really strange.

Do you have tornados in the mountains? I realize that they "jump most fences," but I have never heard of one in the high Rockies.
I didn't think we got tornados in the mountains either but we do have them at the foothills, one deadly one a few years ago in Windsor, Colorado.

Thanks, me ,too! Never know around here ! I was on the look out but we just had sheeting rain for a little while and gray ominous skies ....
We haven't had any desert sunsets, yet. I will try and fix that. Next year we will all have desert sunrise and sets I hope. (P.J. will arrange it.) No pretty sky the last two nights. It is wet I can't get to my rain gauge, but late yesterday I had to detour to church because the road was flooded. The bayou near my house was nearly full and it is a big wide bayou. Today it has rained more. And tomorrow it is scheduled to rain even more than today. I definitely think we will make that 10 inches for these 3-4 days. So I am pulling some sunsets/rises from the file.
Florida Gulf Coast sunset
Arizona Sunset
Lake McDonald Sunset
Sunrise St. Augustine Beach
The last one is another swamp photo.
Nice. I really like the fourth one.
