What is the best time for posting photos so they appear under the list of topics that are sent every morning at 3:30am Mountain Daylight Time? Or is there a "trick" to having one's photos posted there?

You might want to send this as a PM to admin. Just click on the user list above. Near the top is a link to contact admin.
I don't think there's really a trick to it. You just need to post interesting, well done photos. I've had a few posted there over the years but I can't think of anything special I did to get them there. The more unique the better.
