Some various Birds in Flight shots, taken at Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. These span about a 6 mos.-all are handheld as even with a gimbal head, I don't know how it could be done, otherwise. I tend to walk the trails, so try to stay light and mobile, and will only take the 400L or Sig 150-600 on the camera. again, the resolution was dropped, and most of there were cropped-some heavily. hope you enjoy.

I've only been able to get 1 pic of one actually skimming-they start right at daybreak. It's a tough shoot even at ISO 3200, it's still hard to get enough shutter speed in the low light.
