Fish out of water

Well, not really a "Fish out of water", but how about a surfer out of water? I really enjoyed the action of this shot and how unusual it is. The splash of exiting the water had to be included in my opinion......showing the explosion that he created.

That is a great photo Brent. I love the composition of the surfer on one side with the water spray on the other. Colors are superb as well.

Oh good Jay......I'm glad you got to see the detail and sharpness. I have a formula that I use when shooting surfers.......always shoot at least 1000th of a sec.....F8 and the ISO is variable depending upon the light. Usually during the day I never have conflicts with noise or graininess.
