My wife and I have my granddaughter for the day. While we were waiting to leave for the zoo she was watching Dora on the tube. I sneaked in and got these shots.

These are very lovely. There appears to be a screen in front of the first photo. Either that or this is a scan off a textured paper.

Actually Bob, it was knucklehead me. I took the advice of someone last week, turning off "noise reduction" while shooting the night time cityscape. I forgot to turn it back on, had my ISO set to 800 and this is how they came out. I didn't do any post production before posting them on here. Lesson learned though.

I've made so many mistakes like that I've learned to check everything before I start a major shoot. Such things as ISO, Bracketing, and oh yes, the most embarrassing one of all, forgetting to reinstall my memory card from the last shoot. :( After that last mistake I reprogrammed my camera so the shutter won't trigger without a card in it.
The third photo is particularly deep and beautiful. Very dramatic. All are lovely.
These are great!Children are such wonderful subjects. I like the third one best. Your grand daughter is adorable!
