This is my first post here. I have love this site and thought I would post a few pics to get some opinions. I have a Fuji Finepix S4000 and since I am learning how to do all things "Manual", I am in love with photography! I think I like Macro and Landscape photos the best so far. I took these right after yet another raining day here in Michigan this past week. I did get one sunny day, where I took the pic of the flowers at the park. I appreciate any opinions, ideas to take better photos! Thanks!
I like #2. Great lines and symmetry. Good job!

Welcome firefly,
#1 is beautiful in its own right but # 2 is one of those one in a lifetime images for most of us. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff here. Thanks for joining us.

Thanks to all of you for your comments. I still have a lot to learn, but I just love grabbing my camera and taking pics whenever I can. My whole life I wanted to learn photography, and finally the time has come, so I will be posting more pics for all of you to give me honest comments about my newly acquired passion.
P.S. No #2 was my favorite too, I love it when a plan comes together! :)
Looks like your off to a great start. Keep up the good work. You have some great looking pictures. Number 2 is excellent.

Like #1 & #2 best. I have a lot of those #3 weeds in my yard also. If you get real close to those drops youll be surprised what youll see. They act like a magnifing glass. Good luck your off to a great start.
