I have been using Google Photos since day one, in my opininion I consider it is an excellent app, it is a very good orginser and has a basic but good editor.
The question I am asking is concerning the four editing sliders, Brightness, Colour, Pop and Vignette, I understand all their functions except "Pop" which if used with care can improve an image quite a lot.
It seems to be a combination of sharpness, contrast, clarity and vibrance, do any UHH member have any ideas about this partucular function.
Thanks.
I'm going with your guess because Picasa has a "boost" edit choice and appears to change the elements you mention.

ALthough I haven't used it, I think you hit the nail on the head. It sounds like a one-click solution.
Pop is something corn and balloons do.
