Sarasota Sunrise

Looking for some input as I am practicing for an upcoming vacation, sunrise and landscapes. I dabble with HDR occasionally, and I am looking for opinions of what is good/bad. With that said, I know the horizon is slightly off, and the sensor is dirty, looking on input on the processing technique. HDR processed with Photomatix, 5 shots -2 to +2, 1 EV increments. Taken from Bird Key Park looking east. Thanks for looking. Gary

Nice shot! the final colors and DR are good. However, as with many HDR landscapes there is a bit of softness that you don't see in the individual frames. 3 exposures instead of 5 may have lessened the blur. You can still try this with Photomatix -- just use 3 of the exposures. The other trick is to blend layers in PS or PSP to overlay a single shot and mask in just the buildings and the bridge. The sky and water can remain soft.
