Was on the way to run an errand one morning on my day off when I saw a funeral procession going down the road. They usually start at sunrise but this one was around 10 am. Pretty big send off with over seven cars, a band and four trucks with electronic billboards of pictures of the deceased.

Was a little unsure if it was "ok" to photograph the procession, but the 18-200 did a good job. Think the one with the man playing the euphonium is one of the better composed shots.

Great opportunistic shots. Reminded me of a funeral procession I saw many years ago in New Orleans with the Band playing to the Marchers. Never expected the Chinese having similarities. Thanks for sharing.

Celebrating death around the world is very common, more so with some customs and countries! Look at Mexico for they have a few days in which they honor and turn it into a festival! Very fascinating don't you think?
