RJ, there IS a ball in that shot. It's VERY hard to see, but a good photographer and critiquer will scrutinize an image in its entirety at a deeper level that most.
If you examine that pic at %100, you'll eventually find the ball! I don't see it now, but I'm SURE I saw it before and it's probably still there.
That's why they call me Sharp, because almost nothing gets past me!!!

It was a matter of giving a model a prop, her enacting with it while being photographed. Most shots are deleted, some are decent, some are cropped to get interesting parts -- this photo.
