I would think the angle of the shot really shows the height of the jump (even exaggerates it) which is really big for a player. The lighting treatment makes the background recede beautifully and highlights the player and ball. For me, the gym structure gives place and story to the photo. I didn't even notice the ceiling structure (maybe because as a setter, I am always looking back up at the ceiling when running offense)
You captured and processed this shot very well.

Zombie thread... Sadly CaptainC left UHH many many months ago...
He was one of the few commercial shooters still on UHH.
