Reaching Adobe Tech Support for Lightroom

Is it possible to email Adobe Tech Support for Lightroom questions? I would like to contact them regarding my
(previously posted) problem about getting Microsoft Outlook 2016 to interact with LR. I've also posted on the
Lightroom Queen and Adobe support forums and didn't get any answers so I'd like to communicate directly with Adobe themselves.

Does anybody have a good method of contacting Adobe about this issue? Email or Live Chat are preferred.

Unfortunately I've already been to that website and the only options available for Lightroom are the forums,
which I've already tried to no avail. I would like to contact somebody at Adobe directly - is that possible?

I have had good luck with the Adobe Lightroom chat services and so / so luck with their phone service. Chat services were able to go into my computer (with my permission) and resolve an issue I was having with it confusing where to save files. They went in and fixed the issue in about 10 minutes and I have had no issues since. Also, one of the issues turned out to be a problem in their end and they had to have one of the programmers try a fix on my computer then when it worked they sent the fix out as an update to everyone. So, they do work but sometimes it is an effort to A: get the right person (meaning someone fluent in what ever language you speak and not a person that "claims" to speak English or what ever and barely is fluent in their natural language (probably in SE Asia or Philippines and B: really wants to help. I've had a couple that seem to just be there for the hourly pay and others that really want to help solve the problem. Like every other call center, getting the right person can be hit or miss.

I agree with this as well. Additionally, Adobe will not assist you in getting non-Adobe programs to work with their software. Sorry to say, but you'll need to find a savvy tech to get any further.

Have had good luck when contacting Adobe for the CC package. Of course, I have only had a couple of minimal issues where I needed them.

How would Adobe know the issues with non-adobe products? Other than of course plugins from other companies possibly.

Pretty much the same can be said for normal customer support from any number of companies....you have Comcast/Xfinity cable? :)

I have had good luck with Adobe and have heard of many others who also had their issues resolved by Adobe remotely correcting issues on their computers.

I tried the link for the chat that mborn posted and it just took me to the main support page telling me that there's no phone support and to try the forums. I'll try that 1-800 number when I'm home tomorrow after the plumber leaves and before the A/C technician comes. I sense an expensive day coming up ...

Now that everybody can get the latest and greatest for $10 a month, Adobe has lots of new user, with lots of questions. So to support them they now make you pay a premium if you want to talk to someone. That used to be included in the price of the program.

My experience with Adobe and LR tech support led me to my quest for another software company. I have had LR since the first version and Photoshop back to CS2 so I've contributed my share to their coffers. I had an issue being unable to download updates to LR from within the program. I attempted to solve this by myself first, then went to the various fixes posted for the problem but still was unable to resolve the issue. I posted a request on the help site, after 30 days I finally had a reply from Adobe that said in essence - Adobe only provides support for LR via the Forums and nothing else.

A chap on a forum - not one of Adobe's - spent several evenings texting me back and forth attempting to help fix the issue. But to no avail I still have the issue on both my home machine and the office one too. I can only update the standalone version of LR if I download the update and then install it.

The moral of my diatribe - don't expect squat from Adobe.
