One of my all time favorite spots to visit, been there many times. Two of my favorite photos are of Bass Head Lighthouse and the white bridge next to the old Higgins House and General Store in Somesville. Enjoyed your photos!

Nice, brings back memories. Sailed by that lighthouse many, many times. Watched the sun rise from the top of Mt Desert and Bubble pond ,we won't go there.[LOL] Great shot of the Porcupine Islands . Can't seem to place the last shot, looks like a bridge structure, is that a new bridge just before Ellsworth?

I took pictures of the Bass Harbor light on my last 2 visits but didn't get there this time Been by the Somesville bridge several times but for some reason never stopped.

Thanks again, Linda. My previous visits to the park were in Late September and early October so this time it seemed more crowded than I like it. I've had the popovers in the past but this time the waiting line was just too long. There's nothing like Autumn up there.

It's the Penobscott Narrows Bridge, just before Bucksport. Right next to Fort Knox State Park. Thanks for looking in.
