Various shots at local daylily hybridizer. Comments and critiques are welcome as I'm trying to get better.

I realize the second one has some background issues but I liked the color and sent it anyway.

If you apologize in advance the viewer will always agree that there are faults. Nonetheless, as finished pictures for my viewing pleasure I'd say that they're all beyond criticism. And those colours on top of that! What a treat!

Referring to the top one - wow - you've done it again. Pity about the bit of horizontal shadow along the top eh?
No 2 needs some out-of-focus cropping.
No 3 needs cropping too as the top bloom is out of focus and is a big enough part of the photo to grab my attention. So I've relegated it to the background. Pity the left edge of the petal isn't there.
These are only suggestions but you might think they're ok.
Mike.

Meant to add - watch out for bits like that shadow. You might be able to fix that before you take the shot.
And that petal that's not all there - best to shoot a bit extra with a view to cropping later. Then you can make it exactly the way you'd like it. But having seen the previous ones I think you're aware of that one anyway.

Dear Gary:
I LOVE the colors and the softness of the images. I wouldn't change them at all...
All the best,
Susie Q
