Welcome to Day 133 :) Today is all about our furry and feathered friends. Animal Closeups. Doesn't matter if it's a pet .. or at the local zoo. The hardest part is going to be getting them to pose for you LOL.
It's too darn hot out these days for the animals and by the time I get out to photograph them .. they are all hybernating in the shade out of sight. So I had no choice but to go to the wildlife museum where they all pose all day long for photos :) Here are a few examples to get us started... I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
Here are a few from my bluebird trail. I have 18 houses my grand-sons and I monitor each year.
This bluebird is above one of the houses which has 5 babies in it,
This is one of my grand-son's boxes. It also has 5 babies that fleadged Tuesday. Well someone's got to do the dirty work.
Took this photo as this male was flying in to eat mealworms I was feed him.
Got this shot just as the bluebirds were beginning to nest this year.
My husband calls this flying United. Just happened to catch it at the right time just didn't have time to focus.
The male was leaving his house that has 5 babies.
This male I don't really know what he was doing.

annie blossum, beautiful capture of the bluebirds love #5 pg 1
Fantastic shots of the beautiful bluebirds!!
checked into a B&B in Scotland just as the landlady was going out with her daughter, said Bogard will show you around help yourself to the food, and just take any bedroom upstairs to the right, Bogard spent the night on my bed, he was one heavy son of a gun but so loveable. Tundra is a wolf out in the Blue Diamond area
Bogard called after Humphrey
Max thinking about getting up
Tundra, MacKenzies brother
I love all the photos. Max is so cute. Tell me how you can see my pictures before I get through posting them? Am I suppose to add them before I hit send? If so how is that done. What time does this challenge start and what time does it end? Eastern Central ??? or none of the above. I love this topic because I get to travel everywhere and it doesn't cost me a dime.
annie blossom - page 1 - love your captures. The bird peeking out of the nesting box is a wonderful shot, color wise and subject matter wise. It makes me laugh and at the same time, it is beautiful.
The blue bird and pink blossoms--again, a marvelous shot!
The others are beautiful, as well. Keep showing us more of your great work!
AnnMurrey - pg 1 - Wonderful photo, and beautiful artwork at the same time. Love it!
catgirl - love your photos. Max is the favorite, but thanks for the Bogard story and photo, too.
Smithy - Love the dogs! Their smiles are contagious! It's not easy to capture two animals in one photo, and they are both looking beautiful.

Good morning my UHH friends. We have long been waiting this day... OUR PROM takeover. I want to thank you all for being patient and eagerly awaiting this day. For 133 days we have grown into photographers thru these daily challenges, we have become friends, confidants and even partners in crime... (so to speak) We have laughed together, cried together and supported each other not only with our daily words, but thru the eyes of our cameras. So in appreication for ALL Photogirl57 (Sherrie) has done for us and with us, WE UHH (ions) thank you! Though there are many miles that seperate us, the one common thread that pulls us together is that passion for that perfect capture. With that being said..... LET THE PROM BEGIN!
I never went to prom so for my Prom Day I went back to school (well sort of) I checked out what was the most popular song during May of 1981. It couldn't have been more appropriate for this little takeover... Don't Stop Believin'(by Journey) So keep believing in yourselves and treat people whit the beauty you see thru the eyes of your lens. So here are my post for prom. (oh and yes PG, they all knew, well all execpt maybe our new comers)
Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world....
she took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Don't stop believin'
hold on to that feelin'
thank you PG for inviting us to your challenge
You will always be in our hearts
Sher

Yay, finally... The prom.... I never went to the prom either....so I thought and I thought and finally, I had a talk with Alivia....Now I know she is still quite young, but she loves to dance.. So she decided to ask her mommy if it would be okay if she went to the UHH prom, since she is so popular here.......
Mommy had a hard time deciding, but she finally approved.....As Long as my prom date is a nice young man....Now let me see, I have a beautiful dress...My big sis will help me get ready.....Now where will I find a date?
