After July 30, you will have to pay over $200 for the Windows 10 Upgrade. Should we take the plunge or have people regretted the move?

I have had Windows 10 since they began the 'Insider' program, long before it became available regularly and have it now on three computers and definitely do not regret it. I think it's Microsoft's best operating system. You can always revert back to your present OS if you're not happy with 10.

Make the move... Win 10 is stable, fast and a great upgrade.

I upgraded some time ago when was first free...I don't care for edge, but everything else is good including being able to "write" on web pages. Go for it.

I heard it would cost $110 (usd). They probable raised the price to make up for all the free versions that were given while we sort of bata tested it for them.

They want a billion people to have Windows 10 by 2018. The price is an incentive to upgrade now, I think.

Since I have to pay a small fortune for my cellphone, if they do start leasing Windows, I'll go to another source or just pull the internet cord from my desktop. Most of the time I just use it for home use anyways. More-so now after having that stupid malware problem. Windows 10 didn't do much to help out on that either.

Some of you may remember my reluctance to switch to Win 10 because Wacom does not make a Win 10 driver for my old Wacom tablet. I also have an old HP printer that HP has not made a Win 10 driver for. In addition, I use the original PhotoShop (7.0) and the old Sony raw converter (V 3.0). I figured none of these would now work in Win 10. Well, the old Win 7 laptop bit the dust and I decided to get a new Win 10 laptop. Surprisingly, every program and every device works perfectly. I'm a happy photographer!

Win 10 is one of the most stable OS I have used. Been in with it for many months.

At the end of the free period, you'll be able to buy Win 10 Home for about $110 and $199 For Win Professional.

I checked and there is nothing in the Pro system I would ever use.
