Fantastic series, Dennis! Now I'm truly homesick.
The fog highlights the great textures in the close rocks, the "next day" shot is a delightful comparison, the shadows on the foreground rocks of the Porcupine Island image are very lovely, as is your wider view of the bay. Wonderful photos.

Really enjoyed this series, Dennis! While I like fog, hard to argue against number two being a much prettier shot, lol. Nice work on these, and can't wait to see the rest!

Thanks Randy. There's fog and then there's fog. We were hoping the top of the mountain would be higher than the top of the fog.

Very nice shots, Dennis! Did you know that from the top of Cadillac Mountain you can see the sun rise in the first place it's visible in the country? When we were there, my hubby wouldn't get out of bed early enough for us to see the sunrise! :(

A few years ago I was actually up there for the sunrise. I think I was the third person to see the sun that day. There was one guy taller than me and one shorter guy who cheated by standing on a rock. Just joking here but it was spectacular. Unfortunately, I didn't have a decent camera back then.
