shutter count is only 196? does that mean only 196 pics taken?

That's what it means, 196 shots. When I bought it, it had 0 clicks on it, shortly there after I bought a D7100. Then I bought a D600 full frame. I got too many cameras, time to get rid of some, thanks for looking.

Yes it is but I bought a D600 and I have a D7100, the 7000 it gets used the least, you might say I have to many cameras.

Yes, it's a great camera, but I prefer the mobility of a smaller camera I can drop in my shirt pocket. Most of my photos are from travel.
Presently, I use a Sony RX100III. Great photos and light weight.

Rhett, that is why I have a Nikon 1 and a Canon SX50, for the weight.

Those no doubt take great photos but they are still too big for me. I keep my Sony on lanyard hanging around my neck, and dropped in my shirt pocket.
I still use my D7000 around home occasionally. We live in the woods on a big lake, and the seasons provide good opportunities for photos.

I have had pocket cameras, they are good for snap shots, not great for PP in Photoshop. I have a Sony Cyber-shot 14.1 mp that I never use.
